1. Hissing Sound From the Engine Compartment

5. Unusual Exhaust Noise

Check under the hood and listen for rattling or clunking sounds, which may indicate that your exhaust system hangers are loose or broken. Schedule a car inspection to ensure that your exhaust system is in good working order.
